An Adult Social Group Headed to the City for a Day Out at an Art Gallery

Redbridge 18 Plus members visited the Tate Modern after walking across the Millenuim Bridge from St Paul's. They saw a verity of pieces made from steel and clay as well as a set of unusual swings. They also saw an exhibition based on works by Picasso.

Afterwards, the members went for a pleasant stroll along the Thames. They came across Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Golden Hinde, the ship that was once sailed by Francis Drake.

Member Sherry Roberts said "It was a very nice day out. The Tate Modern has lots of weird and wonderful artifacts, and there is always lots of interesting buildings to see in London."

This is one of the many events put on by Redbridge 18 Plus who meet most Fridays from 8.30pm at Goodmayes Community Centre. Email us webmail@redbridge18plus.org.uk
