Members of Redbridge 18 Plus held a charity music quiz at the Unicorn Pub in Clayhall in aid of the British Heart Foundation. The quiz was hosted by 3 members from the group. Other members of 18 Plus and pub regulars took part in the quiz answering questions from a variety of musical topics including number one singles, songs from films, TV themes, punk rock and classical music. Afterwards there was a raffle, with a range of prizes to be won. All money went to the group’s chosen charity, the British Heart Foundation, for which they raised over £160. Member Francesca Barclay said "I am pleased that everyone enjoyed the quiz and it is good that we've raised some money for charity." This is just one of the many events put on by Redbridge 18 Plus who meet most Fridays from 8.30pm at Goodmayes Community Centre.
