Redbridge 18 Plus busy weekend with Pointless show and River Walk

Members of Redbridge 18 Plus had a busy weekend with a lively game of television show Pointless followed by a river walk.

To play the game, at the group’s weekly Friday night meeting, members teamed up into pairs and answered questions on subjects as diverse as famous Annes, ducks and film directors.

The aim was to be the pair with the lowest score and ultimately get a pointless answer in the final round.

On Saturday, the group went for a walk starting off at Broxbourne on the River Lee and then journeyed through Hertfordshire on the River Stort up to Bishop’s Stortford.

Along the way, members of the group saw much of the picturesque countryside, wildlife and a variety of canal boats and even helped boaters on the locks.

These are just some of the events put on by Redbridge 18 Plus who meet most Fridays from 8.30pm at Goodmayes Community Centre. Green Lane, Goodmayes.
