The social club has moved from it's regular meeting place at Redbridge Central Library in
Clements Road, llford. to a new venue.
Redbridge 18 Plus, which offers its members opportunities to take part in everything from cinema trips to holidays, will now meet at Goodmayes Community Centre in Green Lane. Goodmayes.
The group, which meets on most Fridays from 8.30pm to 10pm, says the new location will be more accessible for its members.
Members are also celebrating 40 years of Redbridge 18 Plus, with group organisers already drawing up a programme of events, which include a weekend trip to the Midlands, kicking off the anniversary.
Group chairman Francesca Barclay said: "We're delighted to have moved into the new venue, which offers the group some fantastic facilities. 'It's well maintained and easily accessible, being on several bus routes and just a couple of minutes walk from Goodmayes station anyone visiting the group is assured of a friendly welcome."
