Members of a Redbridge social group braved chilly weather for a weekend away near Northampton last month. Redbridge 18 Plus joined groups from all over the country at Billing Holiday Park. On the first night, they had a go at some karaoke before exploring Northampton on the Saturday. Live music was the background for Saturday evening and on the Sunday the group split for a real ale trip to a country pub and canal museum visit. The trip was rounded off with a disco. Group activities officer Gary Silver said: "It was a good break, and despite the cold weather, everyone had a good time meeting up with friends from different groups to enjoy the weekend." Redbridge 18 Plus is a social group offering organised events and trips for 18 to 40-year-olds. The group meets on Fridays at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, llford, from 8.30-10pm.
