Members of a Redbridge social club triumphed at a bowling tournament last month. Redbridge 18 Plus went head to head at Dagenham Bowl, in Ripple Road, against teams from across Anglia and the south east. The Redbridge team had to settle for second place but the victorious team included club member Elliot Barclay, who played with members of different clubs. He said: "It was great being in the winning team, although we weren't expecting to win, and it was a good competition." Redbridge's Kerry Mann was also the top lady player. Redbridge 18 Plus is a social group for 18 to 40 year olds. It meets on Fridays from 8.30-10pm at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, Ilford.
