Social club Redbridge 18 Plus is holding an evening to welcome new members on Augusts. The group, which runs regular events and trips for residents aged between 18 and 40. is offering a free two month trial membership. Member Kerry Mann said: "The group is currently doing very well, with a new lively programme of events and anyone visiting the group will be made very welcome." Last month, members of the group went on a seaside trip to Hastings and forthcoming events include karaoke, travelling on the Epping Ongar Railway and a Silly Sports Day. There are also regular pub nights, quizes and meals. The new members night will be from 8.30-10pm in the York Room of Central Library. Visitors can find out more about the group and claim the free trial membership. Redbridge 18 Plus usually meets on Fridays at the library in Clements Road, Ilford, from 8.30pm. Full membership costs £25 a year.
