New Year New Events

Redbridge 18 Plus has also been busy planning its new programme, with a range of activities to look forward to over the coming 12 months.

One of the first events will be a pool competition, with members pitting themselves against those of other groups.

This will be followed by a pi­rates and pub themed London walk and also a boat trip along Regent's Canal.

Members are also planning a chanty event at a local pub, which will raise money for the Chigwell Riding Trust.

Later in the year, they will enjoy a day trip to Greenwich and a boat­ing holiday to the Norfolk Broads.

The group invites new members to join in with scheduled events.

Redbridge 18 Plus meets Fridays from 8.30pm at Goodmayes Com­munity Centre. Green Lane. Ilford.
