Members enjoyed an 11 excitement-filled weekend, from learning about the history of Britain's music to visiting a thrill-a-minute theme park. The Redbridge social club visited British Music Experience at the 02 on the first day of the action-packed weekend. They viewed exhibits from different eras of music from the 1950s to the present day. Certain exhibits are dedicated to bands such as Oasis and The Beatles. While at the attraction, the group had a go playing electric guitars, keyboards and drums. The next day, the group visited Chessington World of Adventures. Not only did they enjoy the rides and attractions, but they let their competitive sides show and attempted to get the highest score on Tomb Blaster a game involving laser guns. Elliot Barclay, Redbridge 18 Plus member, said: "Both days were good fun events and it was great to learn about the famous bands and being able to try playing the various instruments. "The group meets on Fridays at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, llford, from 8.30-10pm.
