Twist on Tv show Wipeout

Members of a social group have enjoyed a busy weekend of fun events. On the Friday night, Redbridge 18 Plus made their own twist on TV game show Wipe-Out, with other groups. They held a number of rounds that tested their knowledge on a wide range of subjects, including British wildlife and Madness singles, and the game was won by Lee Gilbert from the Romford group. Eight of the members of the Redbridge 18 Plus group went for a day at the seaside at Clacton the following day to meet members of 18 Plus groups across the country. Kerry Mann, the group's activities officer, said: "Both events were enjoyable, and it was good to meet up and enjoy a day out with some of the other groups." Redbridge 18 Plus is a social group offering organised events and trips for 18 to 40 year-olds. The group meets on Fridays at Redbridge Central Library, Clements Road, llford, from 8.30-10pm.
